provided by India to ferry visiting dignitaries during the SAARC Summit, arrived today in Kathmandu. The bullet-proof cars were broughtby Indian Air Force’s cargo aircraft to Tribhuvan International Airport. The Indian government has provided the vehicles without any charge for the Summit. Nepal will return these cars after the regional jamboree is over. These six Mercedes Benz sedans will be used by six of the eight heads of state or government at the Summit. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will bring his own vehicle from India and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has one such car. Nepali chauffeurs will be deployed from various security agencies. |
